Im a 5' 5" 21 year old and i own a 13.2hh 9 year old new forest mare.

Im planning to show her inhand next year, as shes a very nice new forest, but could i show her as a working hunter? What other classes could i also do?

Would there be an issue with me doing ridden classes with her seeing as i am an adult?

no, no issue with ridden M&M or NF clases, the vast majority of us in the ring on natives are adults. you can do M&M WHP clases turned out sa a native, or if she is the right type, and a lot of foresters are, you may be able to plait and do normal WHP. however, for plaited WHP there may be age limits on riders with ponies,. M&M WHP or flat there are no restrictions.

Oh thats great news, shes a very nicely put together girl, shes got a nice solid head and a good solid body, shes been out of work for a bit so she could do with more muscle but we are working on that!

The nicest thing with her is she moves very very nicely especially in trot (as the foresters are sposed to!) would this be shown off best in ridden or inhand classes or both?

Sorry for the thick questions, my previous native was a nutty welsh b who i competed in mounted games, show jumping and xc never gave in hand or ridden showing a second thought, as he refused to walk nicely on a lead and was as total ruffian who you couldnt keep clean!

i'd always do both or all three myself - my girl doesn't jump due to an accident and damaged shoulder, but we do ridden and inhand classes. our other adult ones all do all three.
