I started training Lili this year - she's a 4 year old section B and although she's been well handled she's not done a lot over the past year for one reason or another.

Anyway, we used to live on Anglesey, in a really quiet mostly traffic-free area so she's not seen many cars (lots of tractors though!). We've been going out on the roads to get her used to the traffic here which is a lot heavier than where we were. She's been doing really well, too.

This afternoon we were out on a tiny lane and four lads in a Golf came right up behind us, shouting and bibbing. We moved into a gateway so they could get past but they just sat there, still yelling and two were leaning out the window waving their arms at Lili. I tried to keep between her and them but I also had my baby with me in a carrier (maybe unwisely, but I didn't expect this to happen) so it was kind of difficult.

Eventually they drove on, one threw a beer can as they got past - and my little Lili never moved the whole time. She stood with her mouth all tense and her tail clamped down, but she never once tried to run. I am so proud of her!

I wish now I'd got their licence no. but never thought at the time. It was just too scary.

That's wonderful! She must have a great deal of confidence in you.

What a little star you've got there, and what little ****s they were, especially when you had your baby with you . Even if you did report them, had you got thier plate, I don't suppose they'd have got much more than a warning.

So glad you're all ok.

You're right, she is a star! I'm really lucky.

lamprellsarah - you are so right. Mind you, people shock me just as much sometimes! (in this case, not a nice shock at all).

I had a really scary moment with boys in a golf. i was walking up the road and the fella driving did a massive hand brake turn. It was completely unexpected and Maverick lept out of his skin and rain forward about 3 paces and then stopped. I get very proud of maverick was being brave and also for my nerves when he gets scared he runs forward and never like pulls sideways (like into the traffic) thank heavens.
