Were Can I Find Info On Shows??

iv just got a welsh section d. and im wanting to start going to shows to do working ridden hunter. does any body know were i can get any information on local shows in the nottinghamshire area. i have never been to a show so i dont know what to expect and do so any info on that would be greatly appreciated. thanks

to find out about shows you could search on the internet on welsh sec d and hunter classes and even find out from your local pony club ....just a thought

If you only want to do local shows then the best place to look and ask is the local saddlers. Make sure you ask as any schedules placed in the saddlers tend to go quite quickly. We used to go through thousands between just a few shops!

Worksop and District Saddle Club (A57 off junc 31 M1)
Eckington and District Riding Club (junc 30 M1)
Maltby Riding Club (junc 1 M18 - might see me there with the ponies)
Hope Valley Riding Club (derbys)
Wingerworth Riding Club (junc 28/29 M1 - moved since I last went)
East Midlands Dressage Group (not just dressage, speak to Louise from Maltby Riding Club as she used to be a member, not sure if she still is but tell her I sent you her way!)

They are all north of Nottingham but not bad shows to go to.
