Morning

I remember there was a photographer at the warm up but I was in pain with my toe so didnt pay much attention, then on Friday 10 pictures arrived, 5 of them are terrible but these ones are quite nice, apart from the look of pain!
I had to ride with my stirrup back because I couldn't put any weight on my broken toe & was leaning forward. Its nice to have some canter ones though as I havent got any nice ones yet. Which ones shall I order?? Thanks :)

Ouch! bet that toe was painful.

You both look stunning. Particularly like the first and last, but I'd probably order them all. :D

They are lovely pictures..I'd probably have them all, to be honest!

Toes do heal, although I bet you probably feeling that it never will...if you know what I mean.

oh, you have to buy them all !
He's gorgeous! I love him !

He reminds me a lot of my friend's horse - really similar, although her boy is a TB x Cleveland Bay and is 16.1, so different breed completely and a little taller.
But apart from your boy's tiny little white "speck" on his face they are really alike (her boy has a tiny bit of white on one foot ... other than that he's doing his CB dam proud).

Hi Dooley

Thank you! He is a cutee. He is Oldenburg but I dont think he looks like it, someone one thought he was TB at that event actually.

What a lovely pair the two of you make! Too bad you weren't looking up in the last photo-that would have been such a cute shot!

I quite like the abstractness (if thats a word!) to it. Glad I had my hairnet on! That is the one I have ordered:)

Lovely piccies! :)

hate to be a party pooper but my broken toe took AGES to heal, which toe did you break? I broke my smallest toe when my old horse stepped on it at the same moment I went to step forward. It was purpley for months and it was sore off and on for over a year, and nice shoes? not a chance! :( . It's been about 3 or 4 years since I broke it and it's just now starting to look like a normal toe again. Sorry OT but I feel your pain!!! :)

Morning Elvengirl

It is the toe next to my little toe but I also think there is a broken bone at the bottom of the toe on the foot bit (technical term lol) cos thats the bit which is purple. I have managed to get my small heeled boots on for work today woo hoo:D but may pay for that tommorow! To be honest at the moment I am just like s*d it i am not wiating any longer to ride etc. But 3-4 years sounds scary:eek:

yup I was riding with it broken right away, managed to arrange the stirrup so it didn't hit the toe. I just couldn't believe how long it took for it to stop hurting if I bumped it or moved it, and it was weird and bulbous looking for years!!

I had a lovely hoof shaped purple line going up my foot when I first broke it too and had to wear open summer shoes with no socks in the winter which made everyone from work and school roll their eyes at "that horsey girl and her injuries" heehee :o
