Well ever since i got shoreset i've wondered what breed she is or what kind of cross she is, but yesterday when the farrier came she reckoned she was a tb but i don't think she is, granted she is a bit fat (understatement of the year) but i still dont think she s a tb, or even has any tb in her, well i did think she had a bit in her, but not much

so what do you guys think she is, or has in her as she is most likely to be a cross.

The first thing I think of when I look at the pics is how she reminds me of a horse called Wanda, a papered broodmare from the Hanoverian studs I used to manage!! :D

In some pics, i was thinking that there was something Irishy about her head, and then she looked more TB in other pics:confused: so i cant help you there much!! she's really flashy!!

I think she looks like shes got plenty of TB in there (most warmbloods have a high percentage of TB blood anyway).

I'd have said some sort of WB, not good with breeds though. I dont see too much TB in there myself but she could be crossed with TB i suppose? But she looks very warmbloody-ey to me :) Lovely horse.

looking at the shape of her id suggest id... the more "up" back seems to be a trate in the ids, theres a thread on here i think with lots of pics of them.

Really bad at this, but thought her cannon bones looked a bit short? Think this a trait of Irish Drafts. Don't know if the white blaze would indicate otherwise though.

I would say that she may well have TB in her but i would say she most definatly has some Arab in there some where, it's in the head hind quaters and the tail. :D

Looks like a thicker build TB to me! you have some fine TB's then you have some that are a lot thicker built to look more QH'y or even WB like. Perhaps its crossed with either one of those I mentioned. have you ever taken a peak at her upper lip? Check for a tattoo, if there isn't one it doesn't really say anything but if there is it says she is definatly a full blood TB.

She's very similar to my IDxTB.( well thats what I was told she was) Same colouring too. Shannon often prances about like an Arab with her tail vertical

thanks. No I aint looked at her lip. Her passport aint very good, and we're sure it aint her cos it says she brown, 5 years old and only has 2 socks. So that ain't much help n the breed.

I lost tuch with her old owners i think she's changed her number otherwise i ask her for the owner before her and so on till i found out what she was.

haha arabs and tbs i was told not to get them by the woman that found her for me and this woman also hated irish drafts. But then again she didn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Looking at her and then a mare i know they look rather alike (the mare is TB)

He also does the same thing wth his leg that Jet does! (not sure if its just TBs or All horse that do hat tho!)

TB x Welsh, TB x Warmblood or either an unusual example of a pure tb / pure warmblood.

Since I can see Welsh in there its possible she could also be an anglo arab.

we're getting round to that but at the moment money's a bit tight and mi mum says it aint the most important thing.

I've been riding a RS horse called Gemma, very similar size shape and colour, she is an IDxTB not at all TB like though temprement wise, if anything she's backward going so I'd have never guessed the TB in her if RI hadn't told me, she a sweetie though, looks just like your baby, love the second pic with the tongue out, gem does that too :D

if your saying arab because of the dint in her face then you should no that it really is a dint and she got it from either been kicked or wacked it the face, we were told it was an old polo injury

let me look again.....in some pictures her back end looks a bit araby......in others she looks a little ID but def a lot of TB....

A bit random but she looks just like a horse I went to go see, he was a Kisberi Felver (I think thats how it's spelt!) they have TB and Arab in their breeding slightly bigger boned than your 'average TB'

Does her passport not have any clue? Or her previous owners?

But shes got more bone than skinny Tb's So Might be some Welsh In Her Too
