as i have stated in previous post - my pony and i (sounds like the queen!!!!!) just plod round the school with no motivation (even though instructor does give us excercises to practice) he is very slow and hardly moves at all - it is real hard work for both of us - any way we had anther lesson this morning - my instuctor was late so we just ambled around, another lady came in and we did leg yield in pairs for a while........ La La La!........
Then instuctor appears and stands in the middle of the school- pony went like s**t off a shoval!!! very animated and forward going immediatly! Clever boy, he knew it was lesson time - he also knows when she says 'come back to walk' and does it before ive asked!!!!! Resulting in a bang on the pomel for me!;)

Its funny how your horse just KNOWS when there's an RI about. Misty never spooks or anything on a lesson.

Haha, Red's abit like that. If there's more than one of us in the school, both warm up in walk and trot at the same time, and then go into the middle, do some lateral and rein-back etc and then do our cantering separate so there's more room. Red knows that as soon as he's come into the middle he gets to canter when we go back onto the track and constantly canters in every corner

Sounds like my dogs, work well at dogclass run off at home with me calling COME like an ijit:D:D Still they all passed Gold Good Citizens 1st time and everyone thinks they're well behaved:) That was until the two terriers had a fight over who was to sit on my knee, I had the whole place silent as these 2 growled and barred their teeth and made the most horrendous noise LOL
