Ceryn has slightly odd shaped feet, they are still a work in progress, as she had very over grown flared feet when she came to us, and had problems with having her feet lifted and trimmed, they are getting better but still not perfect.
She seems very footy on hard surfaces, she can walk on them, and seems fine, up to about 5 miles, then starts getting quite sore, but on grass she is such a different horse, she is so forward going and strides out, which she doesn't do on hard surfaces.
We had some cavallo simple boots for her, measured feet and tried them on and they were fine, then came to put them on her again and they were too big:rolleyes:
I have some marquis hoof boots but they don't seem the right shape for her foot.
She has very round feet, and they are quite flat still.
Can anyone recommended some boots that might suit the shape of her feet?

What are her measurements? If you look at the www.easycareinc.com site under any of the boots it shows you how to take them. Tess's feet were quite round to begin with so I've had to deal with this one too. Have you got any pictures of the hooves?

Haven't got any pics of her feet at the moment, will try and take some when I next trim her, which should be soon, and get some new measurements.

I have some easy boots upstairs, so will see if she can get in those, forgot I had them, they didn't seem to work with my TB so might fit Ceryn.

Looking at the underside of the boots on that link her feet look like the original old mac shape.

Old Mac Originals are the only boot out there that really caters for feet that are as wide or wider than they are long, but others can be made to work. If you happen to fit size 5 originals I have an old half dead pair surplus to requirements:)

My horses' feet are round. I dontacted easycare. They were very helpful. I bought Boas as their strapping system caters best. Dead easy to put on/tighten and remove. Perfick!

Js feet are almost the same width as length - front up he has the largest sized boas, and the largest sized G2s behind. Grip wise i prefer the G2s but found they rubbed more and made his feet somehow a bit 'sweatier' than the boas, perhaps as they're canvas rather than leather. Also found the boas easier to put on and that they got less muddy inside.

Ring the saddlery shop with the measurements and they'll sort you out :)

Round Tb - feet have changed over the past 9 months and G2's no longer fit plus look really clumsy on her skinny legs. Now have Swiss hoof boots which fit wonderfully - v snug and neat and no rubbing.

I have a Haflinger with wider than long feet and she goes great in Boas. The fastening/tightening mechanism was what clinched it for me.:)

I like original old macs for wide feet and strangely shaped ones.
