Someone at my yard uses a treeless and she suggested I try it out on Arion.

I quite like the idea of treeless but would like some opinions. Are they ok for jumping in? How are the price ranges? And what do you find are the main benefits of riding in a treeless compared to a normal saddle for both horse and rider?

Oh and what make would you recommend for someone who enjoys hacking, dressage, jumping and XC?

Thanks in advance:)

Have a look at www.freewebs.com/alternativehorse

You can do everything you can do in a treed saddle in a treeless saddle.
There are different styles just like treed saddles, some are better for some disciplines than others.

I quite like the look of the Equinelibrium GP/Endurance saddle. It says it is suitable for "small jumping". Anyone know what they class as "small" as I hope to be back jumping to 3' in the Spring.

Anyone got one of these?
