I have got a nice new velvet browband for my pony to wear at the xmas show. I was just wondering how to clean it afterwards.

If you're anything like me, whatever you do don't unravel the velvet! :o I had a lovely velvet browband desperately in need of cleaning. Took it apart, washed the ribbons (which came up lovely) and then spent weeks trying to figure out how to get it back together. I now have a nice plain leather browband and my daughters have some pretty hair ribbons! :o

steam and a soft brush? that's what my old YO used to have me do as the pony i loaned from her had a velvet browband (his tack was hers) so she made sure i cleaned it properly!
