Pittards leather harness how to clean

Hi,
Do any of you know how to clean a pittards leather helmet harness. Its very light beige coloured and got wet on saturday. I've only had the hat five minutes and it was a present from my husband. Its a Gatehouse HS1 Jockey Skull and I love it, its the most comfy hat I've ever worn don't want to ruin it thats all.

Give it time to dry out, although it's going to darken over time anyway. Then rub it with hand moisturiser, thats what I do with my leather gloves and it works a treat.
