I've been using this site to find out about coat colours. Chev is more up to date but I found the tables very helpful and it gives a wee bit of explaination for folks that have not studied Biology.

Is this (http://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/research/equine/lvmillon/coatclr.html) the one you mean?

There are some really good sites out there, worth a look.

This one (http://www.angelfire.com/on3/TrueColoursFarm/index.html) has some great TBs with unusual patterns, this one (http://www.horsecolor.com/color_index.htm) is good for some colours.

Mustangs4us (http://www.mustangs4us.com/Horse%20Colors/Genetics1.htm) have lots of info and some really good pictures too.

For information and pictures of duns, you can't beat Dun Central Station (http://www.duncentralstation.com/). Fantastic site well worth a look.

There are more, but that lot should keep you going for a while!

Hmm horse genetics look even more complicated than cat ones... UCDavies are a world authority on Cat genetics and is doing a big project on Japanese Bobtails at the moment so I am not surprised to see them mentioned as doing horse-genetics too...
