A bit about Jessie first, she's a 17yr old Anglo Arab with lots of guts and marish fire! she's a bold jumper, perfect for me cos i'm scared pooless of anything that i can lie under lol she's 15.1 hh and has done endurance her whole life until last year when the girl i bought her off took her as a pleasure riding pony but found she was too goey and now i have her with a friend and i'm planning on starting eventing next year once she's fattend up and learnt a bit more other than going!! of course i dont think i could ever take her speed from her, i've just got to think quick lol :P but she Listens well when we jump and can Jump 60cm from a complete standstill but looks a lot nicer when she dose a nice colected trot and jumps perfectly :) oh yeah i forgat she loves!!! jumping, i found this out while i was working on getting her trot canter transactions smoother and she just decided she'd had enough of that and went strait for a jump i left up form the day before and there was nothing i could do to change her mind after that lol

She's lovely.
You're folding a little too much a bit early so you're putting your weight on her forehand and driving her into the bottom of the fence, which is probably why she had the first one down. But you're giving her her head over the fence which is great, i hate to see horses having their backteeth knocked out over the jumps
You could do with keeping your bum further back in the saddle and weight into your heels so that you are literally folding rathing than almost standing and leaning forward.
But as you say yourself you are nervous over jumps i think thats a very good effort and you both seem to be enjoying it, so just keep practicing and you'll soon have as much confidence as the horse over fences! :D
Love her funky mask too! I guess its summer over there... Slightly jealous here!lol
ETA - Another thing i noticed - GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER NECK!!!lol You're dropping them on her neck when you should be holding them up. You need to keep contact with her head coming into the jumps and it looks as though you dropped the reins on her neck before she took off :D Again, thats why she had the fence down also i'd imagine, and if you did ride a horse thats prone to refusing that will only encourage them :)

I like that you are sinking your weight into your heekls and have a fairly stable lower leg position, alos that your hands stay around her withers and you seem to be in balance with the horse in the pictures.
Some more impulsion and energy over the jump should hep your horse make a better shape over the jump and 'getaway' afterwards.
Be careful to maintain your contact on landing and after the jump.
Well done!

I ditto this.
Remember that your hands should always move forward towards the horses mouth which they cannot do whilst your hands are on her neck. If you are unconfident as you say you are, maybe hold a neckstrap as you go over the jump for your peace of mind but still practice the forward giving of the hands. Remember to sit up into the jump, let the jump come to you not the other way around, fold from the hips, keeping the weight down the outside of your calf and into the ball of your foot, look ahead, keep the leg on, ans start to "unfold" as you feel the horses hind end following through.
Hope this helps and well done you:D

All I would say would be to lift your hands and take more of a contact.:)
Well done on finding a horse to give you confidence.
Keep us posted :p
