I feel so brave.

Yesterday I was jumping and my sister put the jump up really high when I wasn't looking. In the distance I could see a 2ft 10 jump (I find that height easy) and the jump my siuster put up did not seem much higher, so without asking I put on a brave face and cantered fast towards it and Maverick lept. It felt wonderful and then it clicked just how high it was, but to be bravei jumped a 2nd time. My sister measured it up at home and found that the height i jumped was 96cm (3ft 3) WOW. I couldn't believe it. I am nearly jumping the hieght to do open SJ (only 4 cm to go).

Next stop the Olympics. Yippee!!!

Good job! So, were you mad at you sister for doing it, or secretly happy and thankful? ;) Sometimes, you got to go to an extreme to show yourself what you're made of! :D

Congratulations! Wow, nearly 1 meter!! :D

I can't really tell if a jump is going to be high or not seeing as I've only JUST started jumping (for 2 lessons). Last time I jumped it was pretty high but I didn't realise and I asked my instructor "Do you want me to walk over it or trot?" then he said that there would be no way that the horse would ever be able to walk over it! :o It felt pretty high when I went over because the horse "cat leaped" over it and I nearly fell, it was fun though because for the first time in my life I wasn't nervous at all! :)

Oh yeah, I don't know how high it was because it's so hard to tell when you're on a horse looking down at the poles-of course not looking down when jumping though)
