Hi everyone,

Quick question for the Parelliers out there. Did, or have, any of you had lessons from a private instructor at your yard? I'm working through Level 1 with my horse and would love to have a few private lessons, but am struggling to find one. The few I've tried seem lovely but prefer you to come to a clinic, which would be amazing, but travelling my horse is a bit beyond me a the moment!! Has anyone else had this problem? I live in the West Midlands.

Thanks,
Kirstinx

I did, and had to go to australia for a few lessons - ANH tho, not parelli. Sorry, probably not much help, but it is lovely to watch and learn & ask questions as you go, rather than trying to work the new stuff out for yourself.

Hmm, if theres a few of you wanting a lesson it might be worth while to the instructer to come down and give you all lessons for the day?!? Thats what we did on our yard. We had Jayne (ex ANH instructer) come down to teach us while she was in the uk every month, and she was cool about that! Are you looking for specifically Parelli or would you be up for trying other similar stuff?

What part of the West Midlands? I got my first expeariance of Parelli at Bridgenorth and I know some are near Bromsgrove also.

Ooh, Bromsgrove is very close to us! Do you know which instructors are based there?

Thanks mayoguinness, unfortunatly I'm the only person doing NH on my yard. But could perhaps ask around the area. I'm focusing on Parelli at the moment, as am working thru the home study kit, but wouldn't rule anything out. Not sure if it could be confusing to follow two routes though? What did you have in mind?

Thats a shame. Yeah well perhaps your better to follow the PNH route for a while:) Jayne Lavenders back in the uk in March ww.jaynelavender.com and she travels around a fair bit, if your still looking for someone at that point I'd highly recomend her:)

I'd already booked with Alison Jones's level1/2 coarse in the Moulton College one before I heard Quatt was on the go again but I can't afford too many so I'm holding back my next lesson money till Adrien Heinen (with the Mules) comes over again.:D
