A friend of mine bought a t4 high wither for her TB x Welsh and it was awful!!
It gradually sank and started putting pressure on his withers.

She has just had a saddle fitted and its much better, I would personally say... save your pennies and get a saddle fitted.

I have the fish system which means i can adjust it myself. I have a maxam cob GP and it fts Kia like a glove no matter what season it is or how muscly or out of work he is!!

they come with cair or fish as far as I know.

fourteen years ago my mum and dad bought me a T/good Griffen for Flash and its still the most comfortable saddle, never needed much more than a little adjustment either, it even fitted my high whithered monster for a while until he got some topline back.

Amber has had a T/Good since she was broken in, need a slight adjustment and is checked yearly, Milou my high whithered monster is now in a new G3 (think Amber's is that as well) and its fantastic, as his is only new it has the fish system which allows adjustment but I would always get them checked myself anyhow

Flash's saddle has had so much wear, and still is in fab condition, my farrier couldn't believe it, he said after 14 years of nearly being used everyday it should have been falling apart!

None of mine have dropped, they stay really clean and are really low maintenance and so comfy! If someone handed me the most expensive leather saddle in the world I wouldn't take it, love my T/Goods!

As for stockists in Ireland, your local saddler should be able to order one in for you. I'm in the North and got mine from Holmstead Saddlery for Flash's and Bracken Equestrian for my other two.
