Can anyone advise me on saddle pads?

Im considering getting this one

http://www.robinsons-uk.com/products/ProductDetail.asp?productcode=35111

I cant find a saddle to fit at all so I am thinking until my horse hsa fully fulfilled his potential with his shape maybe it would be a good option to prevent any injury?

I have heard the stirrups are dangerous, but why?????

Im a tad nervous about going in the steep woods on one of these mind

Anyone used one?

I wouldn't get one with stirrups because they cause pressure points.
I ride Timba with just a saddle pad and then put a surcingle over it to hold it on,I am getting a proper bareback pad though.
But Timba is pretty bombproof so I feel quite safe hacking her bareback.

ahh well I may not get one then.......

I purely want one because I cannot find the perfect fitting saddle :(

I may stick with this wintec im using and maybe modify it with a gell pad and riser pad!

Savage not having a saddle that fits my horse since may now!!!

Some of the treeless saddles can be a useful interim. I have heard of problems with a lot of them, but the Torsion and the Freeform (the proper ones like Showjumper on here has not the cheap internet copies), have both been tested extensively in endurance and I haven't heard of problems with them, when they're properly fitted. A friend of mine used a Torsion while her horse was maturing, and it seemed to work well.

Thanks for that - unfortuantely its a money problem I have so if I could afford that I would just got for a saddle that fits - catch 22 innit!
