Hi guys, I have found me a 15.3hh IDxTB 5yo mare who pretty green.
I've had her 3 or 4 weeks now. And have not established any Parelli games, have only had half hearted dabbles on occasional days as been soo cold!!

Anyway, had a play/free run today with a short moment of jumping on line, I was unsure what to expect from any of it, but here are the results.. (she is gonna be soo much fun)..

I have never had a horse do that with me so soon and so playfully. None of the others will and nor will G after the 10yrs of owning her (she is right brain introvert). I mean she'll follow for a bit but not with the play drive Jay has. Jay has to be a left brain extrovert?!

I am worried I could mess her up?? She seems to know more than me on what to do lol. Need to study more P to up the games etc but need to establish the 7 games first. Any constructive crit welcome on what you see..

Sorry so many vids, I didn't know which ones to miss out as she was brill in all, so take yer pick, don't expect anyone to watch then all lol. They are all short:)

Hi Jayvee, Watched all the vids and you look like you were both having so much fun! She looks gorgeous too! ;)

Just wish I could do that with my horse, if I tried to free run/lunge him he would try to go for me:( Major issues at the mo but just to say watching your videos have given me a bit of encouragment :)

Congratulations on your new horse. She is lovely and looks sooo much fun. She looks pretty LBE to me from the vids.

You asked for crit. ....One thing I feel you could look at is your jumping online. You appear to be driving the horse over the fence a la lunging. It should be either a squeeze game, part of a circling game or a stick to me/draw. It should be the horses idea to jump the fence not yours. It's not about the fence/trailer/tarp ....use reverse psychology. Think up ways of making it her idea to jump.

Best of luck :D

Aww good luck Laura with your horse. Nice to know the vids have given you some encouragement:)

Know exactly what you mean Janet re the chasing over the jump. I didn't know what to expect. She did follow over a jump loose in one of the last vids. Won't do it again on line until we are getting the games right, still got to learn them properly- roll on better weather:)
