I haven't been riding long and I am just finishing working trot and starting cantering.
I have a friend who loves riding and has been begging her mum for lesson for ages! Her mum said yesterday that if she kept her room tidy, did music practice etc she could start riding ( bear in mind that this girl does climbing, archery, sailing, music, and explorer scouts every week  )
So My mum has booked me and her a lesson on Saturday with two other people. She has only just started Rising Trot. Do you think we'll be ok? I mean we are basically the same level right?

I had a lesson with 3 other riders, and felt I was slowing up the group, as I wasn't as good as every-one else. I had a chat with my RI, and she said, a good instructor will make sure every-one gets something good out of a lesson. So no, you haven't made a mistake. Enjoy the lesson and let's all know how every-one got on :)
