Bay Roan?

i have just payed a deposit on a bay roan mare but when i went to see her she was dark bay with tiny bits of roan on her. But on the pictures of her in the summer her neck looked really roan. but there were no pictures of her body, has anybody got a pic of their bay or chestnut roan so i can see what she will look like throughout the summer?

Any pictures would be a great help :o

I have one of each and I love the changes in coat colour they both go through over the year. My bay roan especially as he gets dapples mid summer which I adore! My strawberry roan also goes almost totally white with just a brown head, legs, mane and tail which is pretty cool too!

Mine does the opposite, dark in summer and virtually grey in winter!

Kis has roaning on him in the summer from his head to his girth but in the winter he goes back to being black. There is a little pony just donw the road from me that looks like a red bay in the winter but in the summer he is nearly all grey!!

I would post a pic of the wee guy but I dont now the owner :o
