Logan is being gelded tomorrow and I am really nervous about it.

I know I am being really silly to be this worried but it's like 15 years since I last had a stallion gelded and I can't remember that much of it...

How long did you have to keep your boys in after they had the cut?

Ours are cut outside and stay there. If you're keeping him in he'll need to be taken out inhand for walks (helps reduce swelling and complications) so really, he sooner he can go out the better. If you're worried about him going out in the mud, I'd ask your vet for advice but I can't imagine he'd need to be in more than a couple of days (horse not vet that is).

And it's not silly to worry about it at all!

Logan has been gelded without any drama, had his second flu and tetanus, been microchipped and had all the paperwork done *phew*
