Hi my horse is a nightmare to worm so i've just been buying the equest syringe paste and putting it in a small amount of her feed. I watch her eat it all and she does with no probs but is this ok to do this? is she still getting the benefit from the wormer?

You need to worm each horse with a dose according to its body weight.
One big dose per session according to weight.
Just read again, in a small amount of feed, not a small amount of wormer.
As long as you are giving the right dose it really deosn't matter whether it's in feed or not.

Thats ok, she is getting the right amount of wormer but was just worried it mite affect its effectivness giving it in feed as its not designed for feed like the the granuals are!
I thought it would be fine but wanted a second opion as guy in the store didint have a clue!

My pony is a pain in the ass to worm as well!
Every method I think of only works once!!!
I usually buy the granuales (if they are available for the specific wormer and time of year!)
But if not I have to buy a paste!
I put both in her feed, with lots of carrot and apple, and she eats it fine!
As long as she eats it there shouldn't be a problem with it!
