I love looking at pictures on here (as does everyone one else:p) especialy jumping piccys. And the only thing I can think of (that has not had a thread started recently about)is the heighist either you, your horse, or both of you together have ever jumped:)

One of the RS ponies jumped the fence in the menage - does that count :p? Oh, and another time, he let me jump it and was kind enough to stay on the other side and give me a boost :D! Annoying that i don't have piccies it must've been quite entertaining! I don't think i have any photos of me jumping since i was about 12 - my mum lost patience standing in the cold clicking away as i went over the same spread 4 times lol! Would love to see everyone else's, though!

I haven't got any pics of it becasue it was in the cold and my mum said that she wasn't going to stand out in the cold filming me :P but i jumped my 15.2hh lightweight cob over a spred 1.30m by about 0.8m and she flew!!!

My old team chaser would jump 5'6" no problem at all over the big open tracks. Some of the hedges were massive and I could not see over the top of them. The biggest hedge was at the Avon Vale or Old Berks that was well over my head height and had a massive ditch on the landing side! I have a picture but no scanner! My face says it all, I think I screamed when jumping that one!
My horse was a 7/8 TB that only stood at 15.1hh he was a truely amazing horse, and is still out in the field with a friend at the grand old age of 28!!

The biggest I've jumped is a point-to-point fence which was around 4'6. that was on my 14.1hh welsh cob but I have no photo.

I'm scared of heights - that's why i like ponies :D! biggest i think i've jumped (intentionally lol) is bout 3.4ft was chase me charlie on an ex bsja pony . . . in the dark . . . on fireworks night. Who's idea was that??? it was also when i was a bit littler and a bit less aware of things going wrong! Fun, though :p

Highest i jump is 1.50m, although i doubt vinny will reach that level with a rider on his back! he currently loose schools over 1.40!

I jumped 4foot on my old man the other day (he's 23!) but i didn't get a pic!!

I'm moving yards soon so i'll make sure i get some of him actually doing it! However for now..

havent got any pics as mum forgot camera but i took part iin a exhibition earlier in the year at our centre equest my instructor built the course for me to jump after id gone round he told me they averaged 1m35 my horse in only 15.1hh

This was about 1m - I was worried Flint wouldnt actually make the spread!

Jumped 4'2" on my 15hh horse but have jumped 5'2" (158cm)on my friends horse Mags, she is 16.2hh and the most amazing jumper we stopped at that height as the jump wings didn't go any higher, didn't get a photo unfortunatley. gutted should have she isn't working at the moment either so there will be no repeat for a while.

Not the highest i have jumped but the highest i have a pic of, Its 1.10 exactly and just over 1 metre wide. Lady has competed up to 1.30m with her old owner i have been brave enough on a few occasions to take her over a 1.30 spread and have won a high jump at 1.45, scariest thing i have ever done! Had my eyes closed the minute I turned to the jump!

Looking back I don't know what came over me that week - we started 'gently' on the first day doing up to 3ft3 and the rest of the week our policy seemed to be "if you're not in orbit, it doesn't count", and I thought nothing of it...in fact I was desperate to do the 4ft6... :o

I think the announcer said it was Eastern Hero. I went to that stallion show - it was fab, lots of gorgeous ID's. Some of the Ballinteggart ones were there too, Sir Rivie wasn't though cos I wanted to see him.

This is my biggest jump, team chasing a looonng time ago! I think it was about 5ft cos it came up to my chin! V.scary as I think my face shows!!

I have umped around 4ft, but thats only coz my RI snuck it up, after i told him not to, when i was half way through a course! coming to it i said " You git, you've put it up!!!" lol that was on one of RS's hunters who will jump a mountain so long as filters arnt involved.

I've jumped in a 6-bar competition at a local show where the last rail was set at 1.3m and we cleared it. We attempted 1.4m and knocked it down, but I was so proud of horsie for even attempting it, he was such a stopper even at 2 feet when he first came to me. We won second place in the 6-bar competition :) That was so many years ago, I don't think I've jumped a thing over 1m in about 2 years now :(

Ive jumped 1.75 at home on Benson (was his limit though) and that sort of height on a couple of my trainers horse

Hi the biggest we have jumped was a 4ft high and 4ft6 wide tripple bar at an unaffiliated shows puisance. we were 4th out of 4 overall but on a 15hh cob who competes at 3ft normally i wasnt complaining!!! i stopped after clearing the fence pictured below coz nerves were creeping in and i couldnt have forgiven myself if somthing had gone wrong and knocked our new found confidence! anyway heres the pic and video is liked to below... all competitiors including the winner clearing 5ft and 5ft6 (i think) wide are featured in the vid! enjoy xxx

The highest I have jumped would be 1.40m on my 14.2hh pony. :) The picture is of us jumping 1.25m. :D

Don't know how high this was but it felt big enough! My girl absolutely loves to jump, as you can see from how high she clears this! It's just me that's a bit of a wimp!

On Milo, I've jumped 4'9 at home, but stoped after because it started to rain and I'd been riding for about 85 minutes. We'd been schooling for like, an hour before then we did a chase me charlie with the two liverys on their 14.1 and 15.2, they both cleared the same. :)
Fern has loose jumped about 1.50 high 1.20 wide but we stopped after because I had to go do the stallions and that was huge enough for her. She was only a baby, this was before we broke her, so she was 4. :)
Highest I've jumped personally was 5 foot. :)

Blimey molly! Milo and Fern sound like amazing horses and you sound pretty lucky! i think the highest ive jumped in my RL is about 3'1, on this amazing pony called spike, who is like, 22. it was a 'cross country' plank, but basically it was just rustic planks. hoping to jump higher soon :)

thanks, Cassia. even if I do say so myself, they are amazing. Although all credit for Milo's schooling goes to Carrie and Martin in Wales, I just bought him up in the showjumping world :D Fern is about to start jumping under saddle, maybe on friday, because we've done all the poles on the floor etc, just havn't raised them off the ground yet :)

I accidently jumped a 4ft arena fence on a 13.2hh pony once. That was interesting when we landed in a field of unbroken mares!!

Was one of those "Please tell me we're going to stop before we get to that fence" moments!! Unfortunately the pony had other ideas!!

That was the biggest i've done on Jessie up to today when i jumped a log thing that i didn't see but she did and it was 1m+ so i'll have to start jumping higher(i didn't know she could do it lol, she sure showed me)

The highest i've jumped tho is a giant log (1.20m) bareback on my friends horse which he put me on bareback and only a halter and lead rope and then Rusty decided he'd take me over the biggest log in the bush! i stayed on and then slid off after while he was cantering and he was so carful to canter on the side not to hit me lol the best trained horse eva! then i got back on and did the whole thing again :P

Its not the best pics im affraid as my scanner cable is knackered,so its a pic of a pic but this was in 1988 i was at the hickstead qualifiers and my pony Sweeney ,she was a 14.1hh ja jumper,
its the only pics of her jumping a decent height,its at least 4ft as those are full height competition wings and shes still giving it loads of air!!!
Its no the biggest ive jumped,i jumped 5ft when i lived out in Kuwait.
