Hi :D

You may think this is a bit silly, but I've seen a few people name their horses as 'green'.. it may even just me my imagination and no one has actually done it  but I've no idea what in means (in terms of describing horses, not the colour. at least i think people use it to describe horses..)

I'm a bit confused at the sight of it.. :o

Grateful of any help or advice :D

Green to me means lack of experience. Even the oldest horse can be green in certain respects as it all depends on what the owners have used the horse for.

exactly what it means: lack of experience. over here we even say green rider. my horse was 17 yrs old and stil advertised as greenbroke.
