as the tittle says i got my second lesson on friday and im doing cantering and im soooooooooo nervous anytips about cantering will be great?

Ummm, sit deep, relax and enjoy yourself! IMO it's the comfiest gate of all :p!

I've always thought that it is very comfy to sit into, as long as your on a horse that will canter without have to chase him/her, if he goes an you can just relax into it its a fab gait, good luck your gonna love it

keep your back straight (or lean back a bit, you'll think you're leaning back far but you won't be! :p) and dont pull on the reigns to keep balance!

Until your balanced and confident, always hold onto your saddle so that your not having to hang onto the reins to stay on! Relax and breath, the more tense you are, the more likely you are to bounce about, just chill and go with the rythm.

Cantering is great fun, and I find it easier than trotting.
As someone said, sit deep in the sadle, relax and keep the horse going. :)

sit deep relax and go with it can grip a little with knees but its quite fun really like riding waves on an ocean
