Who else is getting/has got tickets?! He's demonstrating at my workplace - The College EC, Keysoe in Bedfordshire - and it's too hot an opportunity to miss. i'm now dragging anyone I can to go see it too.

Not for me. If you look on the intelligent horsemanship forum you should find a lot of people who will be there. You could even put your name forward to go and work for the day in return for watching.

Whatever anyone's take on things I would always recommend going to see him at least once :)
I've helped out at a few demos in the past and it was a great experience.

I bought tickets so my OH could watch him.
I agree with Yann.
It is not necessary to follow Monty Roberts to gain something from watching him -seeing different notable horsemen at work with horses is part of an equestrian education.

I can't find anywhere on the site that lists the venues on the door (probably being dim)! Dows anyone know if he is coming anywhere North? I'm not up for travelling long distance, but I quite like to go to see him.

I agree with you and Yann. And i have heard mixed views on monty, but like to make my own mind up about these horsepeople by going along to see for myself:) and taking snippets of info that i feel will come in useful with my own horses.

I can highly reccomend going along to help too and will be helping out at the hand ec, so will see you from behind the merchandise stand! Trouble is I always end up spending a fortune on books!:p

A youngster I had on loan was selected to use in the demo a couple of years ago but in the final selection was rejected as she was going to be too easy and not much to talk about :D Monty was lovely about it though, and definately a good experience! And although we had no problems getting Kiz in the box to get there, we needed the help to get her in to go home. The RA's were fab and sorted it in no time! :)
Shame he's not coming up this way, it's a bit too far for me to travel.
