Bims hurt her eye

Went to give her her dinner this evening and noticed she had one eye closed. Ive poked all round it and that seems fine but shes not happy about me touching her actual eye and she wont open it in the light and only a little in the dark. Its not weeping particularly. Just waiting for the vet to call me back to say whether i need to have it looked at urgently or whether it can wait until tomorrow. Poor Bim :(

Well the vet came, and here eye was looking better already :rolleyes: She had a good rummage round her eye but couldnt find anything so she must have either bashed it or got something in it and i wiped it out earlier. So shes had some pain killing and anti-inflamatory injection and shes to have eye drops once a day and bute if she needs it till she's recovered. She was very well behaved during the whole ordeal. So the only thing with any serious damage is my purse :p ;) Just glad its nothing worse :)

Apart from any part of your body that gets damaged in the whole 'eye dropping' process! :D
