Get a worm count done first - she may not need worming.

If Donna is on a yard then there should be a worming plan in place for you to follow. However, if she is kept alone in her own field then the best plan is to use a worm count programme and only worm as neccessary. There is a plan on my website, link below, which explains how to do this and how to cover for worms which may not show in a count.

I'm not sure why she would have a foreign wormer, which is illegal to use in this country? Has she come from abroad?

If you need any help do ask. I am an SQP athough I don't sell wormers.

I use the intervet system, so that the chemicals are changed each year, thus avoiding resistance. I only double dose for tapeworm twice a year and worm twice in the summer though as i think every 4 - 6 weeks could be putting too many unnecessary chemicals in them. I do, however, get a worm count done regularly.
