Jodhpurs!

Hi,

Does anyone know where i can pick up a decent pair of jodhpurs yet still get them quite cheap. I need a shop in Warlingham or Croydon area as this is where i live and go riding.

Pls help out.

I got a good pair of jods from the ride-away catalogue they were £14.99 but they are now £19.99 they are the 'Dublin Hawksbury' and are lovely.

There aren't that many around. Your nearest would be Woldingham Saddlery or the Saddlery & Gun Room in Westerham. Woldingham Saddlery have a nice selection of jods.

I don't know which yard you ride at but there is a mobile tack van called Horsearound which visits quite a lot of yards around the Warlingham area. The lady sells jods but I don't know the prices.

I use mainly mail order myself but I do always have a good look at the Woldingham Saddlery ones. Haven't been to the Saddlery & Gun Room recently.

Have you looked at equestrianclearance.com. They are based in Yorkshire but you can buy over the internet and get it delivered cheaply. I bought a pair of jods for £10, they do the job and look good. Just a word of warning though if you buy through the clearance section they are seconds, might need a new zip or something like that but theres lots of choice and i've never had a problem with anything i've bought from there.
