heya there, i did the ND at hartpury in 05. basically all you have to do to pass onto the course, is ride at walk, trot and canter on both reins, adn jump either one or a few fences at about 2 foot 3. and im not even sure you have to be able to do the fences to get in anymore. what sort of riding are you doing? tell me how you think you ride? pics etc? and ill say whether you will be ok. hope this helps. if you want any info on hartpury let me know cos was there for 2 and a half years. lol

Hey,

Bravo for getting accepted! I just enrolled yesterday (long story) :o and I to, am curious to know what level BHS Stage 2 expects. I'm pretty sure my level is higher, I have got my eyes on training for the Academy for 08. :D but it will give me an idea of range of level riders I will be with during Equitation Modules :D

Having spoken to the lady who accesses the riding modules, she said jumping was still expected. Heres a link to the BHS Level 2 PDF file, http://www.bhs.org.uk/DocFrame/DocView.asp?id=1220 (http://www.bhs.org.uk/DocFrame/DocView.asp?id=1220)near the end is what they expect in the exam. So my guesses is if you can do those things pretty compatantly, then theres no worries ;-) Reading it through, there are things in that which I don't expect in the accessment. ( Undulating terrain, riding out, poss no stirrups)

Might see you about in Sept08 Pineapple;)
