First of all. I haven't been on here in a handful of weeks as I have been in hospital for 1 week and 4 days with quinsey. So haven't really been able to post this thread that I have wanted to for a while (have been home for 2 days but was feeling down because of it to be honest).
So here you have it.
There was an affiliated show on at ILPH (Hall Farm - Norfolk), so me and mum decided to have a go with Honey as she has been on top form lately. Hasn't been lame, jumps anything you put in front of her basically, and this is the thing which has amazed me, she hasn't touched a pole, not even rattled one, mum reckons she has been jumping out of her skin and i totally believe her on that one. Honey is turning into a complete star, and has come out of her shell 100% and I love her to bits!
The show went really well, Honey warmed up nicely, couple of bucks and squeling in the practice ring (Wo! never realised people can be so harsh, this one boy trotted right under Honey's nose as we went to jump a practice, so i had to trot all the way round again to do actually jump it, then he came round really tight behind Honey, and Honey done a wee buck because of how close he got (she doesn't like horses doing that). My mum was fuming!!), and she waited patiently while other competitors were jumping until our turn.
I went in the ring feeling nervously sick! but, came out with a massive smile on my face. She did nothing wrong at all!! Went clear!
Then we went clear again in the jump off :D:D:D
Didn't think we would get placed as I was on a ticket (she is now properly affiliated), but because I got a double clear, and a good time, we came 4th!!! :D:D:D And when we done the 'lap of honour' Honey kept doing flying changes in the corners and squeling!
Stupid ponee! :D
Didn't get any pictures sorry.

1st couple of shows we went to he was really scared of the fillers & really knocked my confidence, ever since then we have "issues" with fillers esp those that include a spread. I really need someone to show me that my boy can do it, and its me holding him back:o

she wasnt sqeilin.
She did when you were tacking Bonnie up by the lorry and I was trotting and cantering Honey around the field area, She done a squel and a buck.
She always squels and bucks when shes not been out for a while. You obviously dont pay much attention to what Honey does.
