Pairs SJ/XC

Me and a friend are going to our first Pairs SJ/XC in a few weeks.

It is SJ followed by XC in the woods, do we have to match what we are wearing & do we have 2 jump at the same time or do we go one after the other??

It looks better if you are wearing the same thing. Most of the jumps you can take one after the other, but you'll get a few dressing fences which are marked on how well you jump the jump together, these fences will be made obvious to you on the course layout, make sure you know which ones they are when you walk the course.

Thanks Sammii819 - I was hoping we could go one after the other as my friends horse does have a habit of refusing with a really nasty stop, but if she sees my horse go over first she should be OK. With the ones that we do together I'm not sure how she will go - should be interesting. We are really looking forward to it.

You can only have a go, treat it as a schooling exercise, the aim to have fun. :D

In my experiance xc you do together and sj 1 at a time.
