So Dylly has been borrowing big brother's trainers while he gets over his abscess. Yesterday he lost one of the Boa's which i'll be hunting tomorrow, and today he managed to do this to one of the G2's :rolleyes:

Merrick did that to one of his :o I've still got the sole bit "just in case" I need it for anything - not very likely, I know!
Hope you find the missing Boa. Our horses are trying to bankrupt us!! :D

do they have a guarantee est? i've not had them long and they've hardly been used:rolleyes:

if i find it the sole part will definitely go in my collection of "just in case" things ;)

i think it's just dyl's way of saying he's not happy with hand me downs!

Baaad 'pony'! :) I think most boots are guaranteed for 6 months.

They have a 90 day guarantee for defects. If they're relatively new you can but try, it depends on who you bought them from, some places may be more sympathetic than others. They really ought to be capable of doing better than that though:eek: Do you think he trod them off?

I've turned out in an old pair for the first time today for the same reasons and remembered why I switched to easyboots, they really don't mix with mud at all. At least Tess's stayed on though, just about:rolleyes:

had them from the saddle shop in august so less than 6 months

they are size tens so too big for him really so i can only think that he's trod on them yup!

its always possible that in a jealous rage J tried to tear it off him and this is the result ;)

who has an abscess Yann? rubbish aint they!

Hmmm, my experience with the Saddleryshop suggests they take quite a hard line on returns, I had a pair of G2's falling to bits and didn't have any joy.

Tess seems to have had one this week, but well on the mend now. First I've had to deal with in 6 years of horse ownership so a bit of a learning curve. She seems to be well on the mend now though, hope your chap is too:)

Oh no :( How frustrating, not to mention expensive, for you:(

Tess's have survived 3 days now, they come in absolutely filthy with the velcro skirt partially undone and full of mud and I hate them heartily:D She's got a pair of my socks on to save any rubbing which I think look rather fetching on her :p

What a nightmare Roofio :( What size is he? Might fit some of my many spares from incidents just like this! :D

Fab socks Yann :D :D :D I tried with Merrick (used an old pair with pastel stripes on them!) and he was so unimpressed - everyone fell about laughing at him and they kept slipping :o Yours seem to be working a bit better than mine!!

Well I was thinking of turning Daffy out in his, as they've just hardcored an area of the yard/gateway and he is footsore. But I think I'll be taking them off once I can get him to stand still in the field. I don't have another £180 going spare. :p

oh yann that pic has cheered me up no end! :D:D

est i'm not sure what size he is, will measure him up properly. think its just cause they are J's boots and so a bit too big, giving him something to stand on to rip them off

Am going to try the saddlery shop tomorrow, and failing that take them into school and see if the technology people can fix them - looks like its just the rivets he's popped off so might be fixable.
