my confedance is going down

my confedance......................... for a day or to it will be up then it will go down for no reason so i love going showjumpin and my pony does to but when im scared she scared to ..so she wont do it ..she will just run out

I think that this is only normal.

tbh I would assess your mood before you start riding and if you are having a confident day then make the most of it as your pony will gain from your confidence.

If you pony is as sensitive as my Joy is then I would suggest that on your less confident days you concentrate on improving your flatwork or doing something else you are confident with. :)

You'll gradually find that your confidence will increase over time doing this ;)

I have been in your shoes about 100 times!!!
the way i gotmy confidence do things you enjoy! eg i love mounted games so i got some flags and just went for it!!!
and if you need showjumping confidence i find trotting poles effective and going round tiny courses to help. good luck!:D

how big do you jump at shows? i jump around 1m at shows but if im feeling a bit scared i go in a lower class. try going lower or just doing the clear round over and over again
