TTouch

Does anyone have any experiences of this? I'm considering having a practitioner out to see me as I'm keen to learn more. A number of the exercises my physio has given me to do seem to incorporate ttouch in order to improve Forrest's balance and posture.

I covered a lot of Tteam stuff on a behaviour course yrs ago and then I did a week course down in bath and I learnt sooo much, Its well worth doing a course and seeing if its for you, the environment is great, everyone was friendly - since the course, I always lung in my figure 8 wrap, better than a pessoa anyday:)

Jill, can you explain more about the bodywrap please ? How you put it on and how it works etc. I've heard a bit about it and find it fascinating. I do currently use a pessoa but would rather use the body wrap if I can :)

I use 2 tail bandages, one around the neck, and the other connects to the first one and then wraps round the hindquaters, and ties onto the neck piece again, it gives a figure 8 wrap

I'm certinaly no expert, but it enables them to cordinate there front and backend better, provides some support and gentle encouragement from behind, so they work from there hindquaters (like the pessoa) I also find because of the wrap going around the chest they find stretching and lowering the head easier
I was put off the pessoa, when my mare went bitless, and I stupidly put it on her padded headcollar, to lunge her. Within a couple of minutes her nose was rubbed red raw, I decided if it did that to her nose, it was too harsh for her mouth
