Just wondering if I should always drive my pair of Minis on the same sides, or if I should plan to change sides with them sometimes? They're exactly the same height - you could literally put a spirit level on them! What would be the best thing?

Also, how can I stop them leaning out away from each other at times? Usually when they're geting a bit tired?

I don't know but I would be interested in the answer-

Generally they will lean away from the pole on hills if the vehicle is running on a lot. Do you use the brake?

There is a trick your can do, shorten the inside traces only by one or two holes.

Generally yes, swap them and drive them on different sides as often as you like. For shows put the larger one on the nearside, but since your two are identical it matters not, traditionally a lighter coloured on should go on the off side.

I have a problem atm, a new to pairs pair leaning so hard into each other they both nearly fell on the road. I have NEVER in all my born days seen a pair lean that hard before. They will be swapped and chopped and changed and their outer traces shortened.

Yep, swap them over, but be prepared that it might spook them a bit, mine were really jumpy first time I swapped sides, despite them normally being a quiet pair, they were fine after a few minutes but really jumpy at first. It did help the leaning though.

There was a horse where i used to work that did this he would be nearly on the floor doing this. We swapped him over which confused him for a while as he kept turning round and looking for his mate that wasn't there.
