On the 18th March 2008 Hadlow College, Tonbridge will be host to ‘An Evening with Tim Stockdale’. The world renowned international show jumper most recently hit the public eye with his training for the contestants for the hit BBC series ‘Only Fools On Horses’ as well as years of high ranking international placing.
Tim’s background is steeped in horses, from his pony club days at Nottinghamshire’s Grove Pony Club, in partnership with a skewbald mount known as Danny Boy, to his latest superstars, Tim remains dedicated and hard working to the core. With recent demonstrations at Moulton College proving a hit, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the lecture/demo to be given at Hadlow will not follow the same pathway.
Show jumping is a forever growing sport with much publicity, however in order to reach the high rankings of Mr Stockdale and the Whitakers, there is a need to form a solid basis upon which to build. Mr Stockdale will demonstration how to set about constructing an education for the novice horse to build upon with experience and hard work on the part of the rider. With two novice horses Tim Stockdale will show how to combat common problems associated with early Showjumping training and the novice horse. Participation of the audience is welcomed as Tim speaks to members offering years of advice.
The end of the evening will be finalised with a demonstration of one of Mr Stockdale’s advanced horses. Tim will wow the audience with his talent and the skill of his horses. This rounded off with a question and answer session, raffle and a catering van for the cold and hungry amongst us will prove to be a well attended and enjoyable evening. Though warm coats are advised!
Tickets at priced at £20 for adults, £10 for children and £15 for Hadlow college students, with an excess of £5 on the door so it is advised that tickets are bought well in advanced so as not to be disappointed!
