Extra Full or Full Bridle?

Is there much difference between the two, if so how much or in what way.

Trav has a full size which is fine length ways but could use a longer throat latch and wider noseband, would an extra full be too big?

With an extra full you can always make more holes length ways to make it smaller, but with a full you can't add length onto it.

jay has extra full on the 2nd last hole, full size head pieces & brow bands are too tight for him:)
wider nose band as in length or the actual width?
