i was thinking of buying a seat saver? are they comfortable and are they allowed in show jumping, dressage and cross-country?
also does anyone know what the cheapest price would be?

They're comfortable and they keep your bum warm :). Not sure about that one but i have used mine in one of my events it was hunting trials.
I payed £20.00 for mine, from horse world.

The HM one is brilliant and is definitely dressage legal so presumably legal for other disciplines too. It's not the cheapest on the market but is certainly (IMO) the best. If you get one and don't get on with it they sell for pretty much the same price as new on ebay.
