Bit of an odd question i know.. but if i took my mountain horse leather boots to a saddler or something would they be able to fix the zip on one of them?

I am lost without my boots, if this isn't the place where should i take them?

I took mine to a bog standard shoe repair shop - much cheaper!
He also fixed some snapped reins for me for £2, the saddlery would have charged me £10! and it would have taken 2 weeks! Shoe man was 3 days! :D

Probably a cobbler (sp?) would be the best person to try, they specialise in footware =]

A saddler could repair them but a shoe repairer would have more specialist stuff and do a better job.

Second vote for cobbler here too!

Also, not to hijack thread but i have a similar question.

I have a long pair of leather black riding boots but they are now too wide for me on the calf. Can the widths be altered?

Mine are four years old don't think i'll get a new pair now

Haha wish i could though!

Wildponies - not sure about the widening thing  i guess they might be able to tighten them?

A cobbler would mend them, but alas we don't have one now, they seem to be a disappearing act! If your Mountain Horse boots are within 12 months old then take them back, they should replace the zip for free.

Woops only just read they're over 1 2 months old.

A cobbler could make them narrower for you.
