Can't quite believe little Dylly has been part of the family for nearly three months! Not been the easiest of times but hopefully now we're settled in our new home things will only get better!

He's been sound mooching around the field on his ringbone leg since about a week after his last trim but had an abscess rumbling round in one of his hinds. Vet eventually managed to find it a few weeks ago and he's more or less 100% again on it now, just feels it a bit if he catches a stone.

Anyway, here's some rubbish pics of how his feet looked before his shoes came off

Like J, we are still having some trouble with thrush but i'm really pleased with them on the whole.

Any thoughts? :)

ETA- A little piccy of the two of them, didn't come out as nice as i would have liked but never mind!

I remember those feet from when you posted them before - what an improvement already :) Am I right in thinking the first current shot is the same as the shod one above? Can see a real change in angle and height if that's the case:)

yup - it's his only brown one so it definitely is! i might have mixed the white ones up, but i can definitely tell the brown one!

i am really pleased with them, funny thing is when the vet saw them both a few weeks back and commented on the huge improvement in J's, he asked if i would ever go back to shoes (and I said no for J unless absolutely necessary) he said that he thought Dyl would probably need them again

he thought Dyl would probably need them again

Did he give a reason? Is it because of the ringbone?

i think it might have been to do with the abscess - either way, i'm very politely not listening to that bit of advice!
