I'm still experimenting with bits for my little mare and wondered if anyone has any experience of the KY rotary bits. I'm specifically interested in the double joint (french link) loose ring snaffle. They look like they are quite small in the mouth and quite kind, which is what i'm after. I have a bitless for hacking out and am using a little cambridge snaffle for schooling but for some reason she doesn't like jumping in it - she flings her head in the air and ploughs through the fences:eek: I was using just an ordinary french link loose ring snaffle but she had started to lean alot on one side of the bit and to get very heavy in my hand - also when she had her teeth done last week the vet said that she had quite a small mouth hence i'm looking for something a bit neater to fit in their. Any suggestions very welcome as the world of bitting is something of a mystery to me:o
