Hi there. You are all cordially invited to contact me if you are keen to spend a week or 2 on a Natural Horsemanship ranch in South Africa. The service will include:
Airport pick-up from Cape Town airport
Sight seeing (Table mountain, wine farms, game farms, seals, penguins and anything else that takes your fancy including cultural events if you are interested)
Accommodation options: On the farm in fairly rustic self-catering but comfortable conditions (budget option) or at B&B (comfortable but reasonably priced) next door.
Your own horse for the duration
Daily lessons and clinics.
Daily hacks to practice what you have learnt
Rides on the beach
Amazing opportunities to observe natural herd behaviour and to learn about what you are seeing.
Whispering Sands is a completely natural facility with the horses living in a big herd on 100ha. There are stunning hacks on the farm where you can ride for 5 hours and still be on the property or you can ride next door in the mountains. All hacks acccompanied by the Instructor so learning takes place all the time at your own pace.
Best times to come: All year: - can be very hot in January and February (so you go home with amazing tan!) and a bit cold and wet in July and August but nothing as bad as your winter and you will still get a tan!)
