I wonder if anyone has a spare moment if they could look at this test http://www.littlefieldmanor.co.uk/scdw_t3.doc

I just want to check I understand movement 3/4 as I am a bit dim in dressage matters

So I finish the serpentine at C on the left rein and then can make a transition to walk anywhere before M, in other words nearly the whole way round the areana.......?

If I have it right, I think I will just do more in trot, as it will be over quicker then :D

i find if i draw it out on a piece of paper it helps me to understand where the hell i am supposed to end up. :D but think what you have said is right - i think :D

I drew it out too and yes, that's what I think too. Is eons since I rode a test though so I wouldn't take my word for it.

I love serpentines for some reason :)

That is what the test says, but personally I think it's likely to be a misprint that should read "between C&H transition to medium walk", followed by the change in rein HBF in free walk. That would be quite normal to give transition between 2 consecutive letters, but I've never heard of an option to do a transition anywhere you feel like in a circuit of the arena  It also makes the test run a long time if people start walking just after C and do a full walk circuit.

May be worth a phone call to see if it's an error in the test. Ultimatley if you do what it says, you couldn't be penalised for it, but they may just tell you on the day. If that's the case then you may as well know in advance so you know what you're aiming for.

Edit to add - a misprint wouldn't surprise me as you also have 2 movements numbered 8 and no 9 ;)

Ah glad it is not just me that thought it looked a bit odd. I have dropped them an email, will follow it up with a call if I don't hear, as I do my tests from memory so really need to get it straight in my head as early as possible!
