Me and Ponymad25 are both lincs cambs border so not far from leics, would be nice to meet up with some other NR members but we couldnt bring horses, think both of us would actually die if we attempted xc right now!

Also where abouts is central to us all? Theres a few nice places near me and are close to the M1 so easy to get to? if thats any good

28th is good for me. 3pm is good for me as I can get OH to bring the horses in. I wouldnt really like to be driving home at 9pmish....A pat with EML's and SFS's infamous horses has got me all excited now...:D:o

If people want to do pony/horse patting or playing we can do open house from 2pm on and then all have meal together somewhere (we do have visitors shower so you don't all need to stay smelling of horses!!)

Or alternatively meal at 3pm would be good for those with a distance to travel back?

There is a Brewers Fayre on the Flagstaff Island - its junction 13 of the A42, on the same bit as the macdonalds. Its about 2 minutes from eml's - I guess about 10 mins from Deefa's?

Its usually very quiet there so easy to accomodate a large number of us! I like the Ferrers Arms at Lount but we'd definately struggle to get us all sat down.

As far as I know I am probably the oldest ...not quite ready to retire and don't bite! I know a lot of the others are 18-25.

From the south take M1 junction 22 and carry on through Coalville towards Ashby de la Zouch. The Flagstaff island is just as you cross the A/M42, head past the Macdonalds

From the north take M1 jnct 23a A42/M42, exit to Ashby

Any one visiting us or Deefa please pm for directions so we know how many people to expect.

Perhaps just a good place to remind you all that you should only ever meetup in public places. NR is an open board so you never know who is looking in.

Just general internet safety, even although you 'know' people on a board meet them only in public places and preferably not on your own. make sure friends know where you are at all times and have a plan for them to contact you to check you are happy, my horse is ill can be a good get out if you feel uncomfortable.

Meet at 3pm 30th March Brewers Fayre Flagstaff Island Ashby de la Zouch. Please confirm you are coming by a post here by the 1st March and SFS will book table(s)

For yard visits to Deefa, EML, Jenny2502 and anyone else (TJ?) contact the person by PM.

Should be great. I have met about half the people coming so far and can assure everyone they are all as normal as most horse people!!


Oh and since we are on the border Derbyshire/Staffordshire/Warwickshire peoples welcome too
