It was fantastic! A friend was nice enough to lend me a horse for it, and she went very well. I did a 10km one as neither of us are very fit. We took a long time to do it, but it was a lovely ride through the forest. :)
I cant wait to get my own horse into it! He is turned out at the moment, but another 2 weeks to go, and I am bringing him back in and we can start working towards a short 10 or 20 km ride on the 6th of October.
There were a lot of appaloosas there today and I actually Met Cheeky's breeder and had a lovely chat to her about him, he was born on the 23rd of October 1995!! So now I know when his birthday is!
She had him till he was 2 and then he went on to the lady I bought him off. She was really pleased to hear how well he is going and that he is a real all rounder.....
I have decided to give it all a go, endurance (competitive trail riding) eventing, dressage, show jumping, showing, show hunter and hunting...its such a lot of fun and I love it!!
