Highest I have jumped was 3' on my last horse Sam, an IDxTB. I haven't really done any jumping on my new boy, but we will be starting his schooling next month so am hoping to beat my current record:)

The heighest I've intentionally jumped is 4'6 over a point-to-point fence with my 14.1hh welsh D Thunder, it was pretty wide too! But I'm sure my 15.2hh partbred jumped about 5' when jumping through a bullfinch!

Deliberately? 2 holes below 3ft! :o:D This was on a 14.3hh cob mare.
Accidentally? A 5 bar gate, on an out of control 'safe, confidence giving' hunting mount
I'm not that good around horses....

3'9" on my old loan pony who was 14.2hh. We were just messing about and a friend kept raising the pole!
Scares me silly just thinking about it, I'm much happier either jumping about 2'6", or not knowing how high the fence is or seeing it beforehand and just going straight over.

Heehee, I like how everyone has two heights - one on purpose and one on accident.
I've never had an accidental jump thank goodness! Highest was 2'9 on this bitty 13hh pony that had tossed me twice that week already!! :o
Don't jump much anymore, although I miss it terribly. Might have a go at some baby poles on the new loan pony once I get to know her better!

22nd Feb 2008, 09:50 PM
Well my RI has a new technic called raise the jump when I'm not looking!
She managed to get it about 8th hole ( it had started as a 4th hole cross! )before i went " hey its gone up! " Made me realise i could jump after i had a huge confidence crisis!
I think probably about 4ft maybe a inch or two more!
I by acident jumped the wrong XC jump which was massive!! that was scary!
Kc..
23rd Feb 2008, 09:46 AM
4ft 6 on Nimby.. (i have NO idea how many cm's that is though ;))
Took a few attempts as i would push him on over 4ft, then at 4ft6 (one cup from the top on those big poly jump wings) i was cra**ing myself so took a few attempts for me to push him on enough lol!

23rd Feb 2008, 09:56 AM
The highest is with Honey, about 1m15ish at home, at shows you'll be lucky to see me jump round clear 95/1m ! But this is on my accord, Honeys accord is.. bombing round a 70cm/2ft3 cross country course with me screaming "YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAA!!" and then Honey jumped the 3ft9 (whats that in cm?! ;)) brush fence with me screaming "SHHHHHHHHHHH**************T!!!!" whilst going over it. To say the least we got eliminated
I havent done any jumping with my new one yet, but im hoping hes going to be a brill jumper as he jumped over the wooden fencing in our field to get in the field with Saxon. The fence was over 4ft

3ft on my 14.2 6 yr old cob, sounds small compared to what everyone else is jumping but we are building up our confidence slowly lol, im sure he could clear 4ft easy though its me who wont lol!!:D

23rd Feb 2008, 06:15 PM
I'm a beginner at jumping so I'd say about 1ft 6 inches
To be fair this is a big effort for Joy considering the weight she has to lug about :o

23rd Feb 2008, 06:50 PM
Umm, I have no idea cos people always just come and whack the jumps up when I'm riding and don't tell me how big they are, or tell me to "just pop over that x-country jump" and it's only when I'm really close that I realise it's huge! Lol! Umm, I think deliberately about 1m25 on my old pony, I thought it was smaller but I had a look on the pictures and you can see the marker for 1m25 where the cup is.
Undeliberately I have no idea and I'm not sure I want to know! I get "encouraged" to jump crazy things out hunting! On my old pony I jumped some post and rails and a massive ditch and hedge type thing and me and YOs son once lost the hunt and ended up having to jump lots of terrifying things to find them! Lol! I just kept my eyes closed! The hedges I've jumped YO describes as being "bl**dy big" and he told me a 3ft3 (my limit now) wall was "tiny!" I don't jump any of this deliberately though! People always tell me I'll be fine and to go for it and I just shut my eyes and go! :o

*does some meauring against self to guess height of jump stands*
About 5ft ish on a friends pony. With my eyes close:o
Had a shot on my friends amazing BSJA pony many years ago and challenged her to jump him with her eyes closed (as you do when you're 13yrs old). She did it, but on the proviso I got on afterwards and jumped whatever jump she put up. Which lead to her putting the poles ON THE TOP of the jump wings (not even in the cups) and tell me to get on with it  Fabulous little point-aim-jump pony cleared it with not a bit of help from me:D
Properly I've jumped a couple of courses about 3'6 or so.
only have one picture of me jumping more than about 2'6:
Think this is a little less than 3'6 - can't remember how big the stands are:o. Horse is 17.2

Never have any photos of the bigger stuff. Jumped a 4ft hedge when out hunting but that was more luck than skill. Was pretty proud of myself at the weekend as went and jumped some of the bigger x country fences. I usually wittle at the smaller ones let alone the big bug*ers :p
Unfortunately no pics of me onboard but here's the jumps.
fence one 3ft3 (http://www.mclarenenterprises.com/auctpics/numberone.JPG)
fence two 3ft3 (http://www.mclarenenterprises.com/auctpics/numbertwo.JPG)
And the most nerve wracking of the day
number three 3ft9 (http://www.mclarenenterprises.com/auctpics/numberthreea.JPG) number three (http://www.mclarenenterprises.com/auctpics/numberthree.JPG)

The highest I've jumped is 5foot (spread) at a s/j training day, I use to s/j 4'6 courses on my 16hh thoroughbred, and about 4' on my thoroughbredx.
This was along time ago, before I broke my ankle in riding accident. UNfortunately can't jump any more, new ambition is dressage.....
