Salt Intake?

Luka normally doesnt like any kind of Lick. At my old yard though someone had left a rock salt lick though, forgot to take it out. In about a week she had finished it off! Thought OK, will get you another one.
She now goes through a small one in about 2 weeks. Is this a lot? Was thinking of maybe adding salt to her diet if she is lacking in it? Or just leave her to go through the licks?

You can quite safely leave it up to her to judge how much salt she needs, according to her workload that day etc; horses are very good at knowing what they need and when - but the daily maintenance dosage recommended is usually 50g.
