Anyone use(d) Marquis hoof boots?
I bought a pair for Maddie but didn't really use them, thinking of trying them on Ceryn now as she needs a bit more hoof protection.
I bought mine second hand and they are not a matching pair at the moment, so will get in contact with the company to try and sort that for me, but how do you find they stay on, when they are matching?

Yes. I got given a set of 4:D

They're fractionally too big, despite being the correct size for him in theory.

When fully inflated, they stay put nicely, especially on the fronts. But - I found the hair around the coronet band was being worn away, and his heels were very pink every time I used them, even when I started with 5 mins handwalking and gradually built it up. On the hind feet, if he turns suddenly, they twist, and I have to jump off and fix them, made me paranoid and I'd be permanently looking underneath him:D.

I've now bought a pair of Old Macs, and use them in preference. I'll sometimes switch the old macs to hinds, and put the marquis in front, if I want to boot him all round, and that works fine.

Just not sure if I agree with the way they're constructed, much prefer my G2s, although I will say the Marquis boots are much easier to put on (provided your horse doesn't mind hissing bike pump noises!!:D)
