calming/stroppy mare supplements

What are the best calming supplements, for stroppy mare's. Any suggestions. What do you guys use???

I didnt think that much of this:o one of the young mares on my yard has been on it since october and is still a pain up the bum!am dreading it when she comes into season as she just follows the boys around squealing and then winds them all up:rolleyes:she is having to get her own paddock for her own safety as the boys get p****d off with her and kick out or chase her off.will be interested what people use.

I tried Joy on Magnessium Oxide having read some posts on NR who have had success with it.

The theory is that those living out especially can be magnesium deficient in theit diet and if this is the case then supplimenting with magnessium can calm their behaviour. It will only work aparently if there is a deficiencey there.

So I bought some and within 5 days Joy's 'edge' had been softend.

I still didn't know if this was down to coincidence and other factors so I let it run out and within 3 days the 'adge' was back again. I bought some more and started using it and this has gone again.

Her moods are more consistant. :)
