At the moment i am very confused about what i should be feeding my two:
Babe 13.2hh mare has stroppy mare which definately helps her. Happy hoof and garlic.
Dink 12.2hh gelding has devils claw extra strengh, happy hoof and garlic.
Babe can sumtimes be a bit fussy she is a good doer n prone 2 laminatus but in the summer rufuses 2 eat hard feed n in winter she wont eat grass.
Dinky has a sticking stifle so he has 2 have anything that will help his joints n build up extra strengh
thanks xx

what you are feeding them sounds good, although i was told that those prone to lamintintis are helped by pink powder as it keeps there digestive system going but i don't know for sure. but if babe is fussy then you could try speedibeet as it is safe for laminatics to have.
have you tried someting like cortaflex of joint flex for dinky?

Keep them on a forage based diet (especially the laminatic). It works around a low energy diet, which is released slowly so as not to exaggerate your horses' natural temperaments.
I second Cortaflex (love it!) but as for the other supplements - unless you have to feed it (medically) then I would question your use of them as the more you feed, the less effective each product and ingredient will be. Plus you will be feeding the same nutrient several times over (not advisable) - therefore I would question the necessity of eachof them as you are already feeding several different supplements.
Instead, I would feed only what you have to alongside a broad spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement(i.e. NAF Pink Powder, Dengie Optinum)/feed balancer (i.e.Blue Chip Original/Lami-light, Baileys Lo-Cal, all of which are suitable for laminatics). These are cost effective as, although initially expensive, they are fed in such small amounts to give both of your horses a fully balanced diet without thany unnecessary energy. They can safely be fed alone (except alongside forage) or with a handful fo low calorie chaff if you wish.
I also recommend feeding a digestive enhancer (i.e. Dengie XP Triple Action, NAF Pink Powder, Biotal Equine Gold) to make your horses' digestion as efficient as possible and help keep them in tip top shape from inside out!
be careful to make any dietry changes gradually - preferably over a period of at least 7 days so as to disturb your horses' digestion as little as possible.
If you would like more info. or specific help then please feel free to PM me at any time.

What you're feeding sounds fine but unless you're giving the recommended amount of Happy Hoof (& most peolpe don't) I'd also suggest a general vit & min supplement.
I think there can be problems feeding Devil's Claw long term so unless Dinks is an old boy I'd look for something else at some point. Hilton Herbs are good for advice if you like a herbal supplement. Also I know a lot of people don't like feeding garlic long term as it disrupts gut flora.
My vet recommends exercise for sticking stifles as keeping the ligaments strong can really help, or even solve, he problem. If he's too small to ride you could long-rein!
